On this tour, we head West Crete and visit Rethimno , Chania old town and Kournas Lake , the only natural lake in Crete .Chania It’s known for its 14th-century Venetian harbor, narrow streets, and waterfront restaurants. The picturesque town of Rethimno is full of narrow alleys, arches, and a beautiful Venetian port. The 2 cities combined and Kournas lake are the perfect day tour exploring west Crete. We enjoy lunch in Chania in one of the hundreds of local restaurants by the harbor or by the lake .
Trip Itinerary
Picking you up from your place
We can pick you up Heraklion port , cruise terminal, airport , hotel or an address arranged before.
If the address given is not in the Heraklion area then it might be an extra charge.
Our first stop will be in Agia Pelagia to enjoy a coffee with beautiful views.
It’s coffee time or fresh juice ……….
Chania Old Town
We explore the old narrow streets in the old town…. We might get lost but we have Google maps now days …..( just kidding)
Kournas Lake
We can have lunch by the lake or you can even go for a swim before lunch ……..
Rethimno Old Town
It’s time to get lost again in the small narrow streets but now not in Chania but in Rethimno old town………
Time to hit the road to go back to where we started
No sleeping in the car because because if you sleep then the driver might fall asleep too so it’s your choice………..
