Crete has only one natural freshwater lake and it’s called Kournas , it is definitely worth a visit combined with Rethimnon old town. This picturesque town is full of narrow alleys, arches, a beautiful Venetian port, and a Venetian castle. Kournas lake is ideal for a walk around, a water pedal bike ride, and swimming. After swimming, we enjoy lunch at one of the many tavernas that are located around the lake that serve Cretan local dishes.
Trip Itinerary
We pick you up from your hotel or an address arranged before and of course, we drive you back to your place after the tour (If the address given is too far from the Heraklion area then there is an extra charge depending on how far from Heraklion it is)
