Zeus Cave-Traditional – Villages – Old Wind Mills – Olive Oil Factory | Private tour
PRIVATE -Zeus Cave-Traditional - Villages - Old Wind Mills - Olive Oil Factory
PRIVATE TOUR
This is our favorite tour in Crete because you get to see the real side of Crete, the monasteries, the old villages, visit an olive oil factory and learn all about olive oil , old wind mills, Lasithi Plateau the biggest one in Crete, Zeus Cave where the king of all the Greek gods was born. I we grew up in a village so we love nature and this tour gives us the opportunity to show you the old villages up on the mountain with amazing views, the cave of Zeus ( we hope he will be there this time because last time we were there we looked everywhere but couldn’t find him)…. Still looking though …… After all the exploring and looking for Zeus it’s time to stop at a family restaurant and enjoy lunch, maybe some local wine too …… not for the driver though………

I am interested in the Windmills, olive tour, and small villages private tour guide for €400. There will be 4 of us. However we will be in Crete for 9 hours. We’re docking off the Princess Cruise ship. Can the tour be shortened so we make it back on the ship without any worries?

We did the Zeus tour with Ed, and it was a great experience! Ed is the best guide there is. He knows a lot about the history of Crete and tells a lot about it, he’s very passioned about his island. Also he is very entertaining and funny and he makes the tour personal for everyone. We saw very nice places and had a very good coffee and lunch also. It was the best tour we’ve had in our lives. So we recommand this tour to everyone who is interested in the olive-factory, the windmills, the Zeus cave and a lot of sightseeing and (foto)stops and good traditional greek food.
Thanks Ed for this beautifull tour.
